Join us for Read, Respect, Retain, the 3rd Annual Galway City Architectural Conservation Gathering. This free, all-day event brings together leading voices from urban design, architecture, conservation and research to explore the essential first step in caring for a building or place: understanding its significance.

The morning session, Read and Respect, explores the resources and techniques used to establish the significance of a building or place. The afternoon session, Retain, looks at how that understanding is transferred into practice through conservation, planning and sensitive adaptation.
