WELCOME

His Worship, the Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Eddie Hoare, has announced that the City’s annually anticipated Mayoral Ball will take place on Friday 26th April, 2024 at The Galmont Hotel & Spa.

Beginning with a sophisticated Drinks Reception in the hotel foyer at 6pm, guests will then enjoy a delectable formal dinner in the city centre hotel’s stunning Inis Mór Ballroom, before being whisked up into an elegant evening of dancing, live music and entertainment.

The five deserving charities which will benefit from the proceeds of this year’s Ball are: The National Breast Cancer Research Institute; Hopespace; The Galway Sick Kids Foundation; Blue Teapot Theatre Company; and Rosabel’s Rooms.

The Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Eddie Hoare said: “I’ve enjoyed a truly brilliant year as Mayor of this wonderful city. This event is an opportunity to bring people of our community together and shine a light on these incredibly worthy charities who deserve all the support we’re able to give them in order to help them with their important work.”

General Manager of The Galmont Hotel & Spa Stefan Lundstrom said: “It’s a real honour to have been selected as the venue to host this year’s Mayoral Ball raising funds for such incredible charities. Our team at the hotel looks forward to welcoming all the guests and putting on a night to remember.”

Tickets for the Mayoral Ball are priced at €150 each and are available at the reception in the Galmont Hotel & Spa and also online through ClearBookings.
